Free Downloadable SOA Book

The book "Service Oriented Architecture - Getting It Right" is available free as a PDF. You just have to fill out the normal registration junk.

I haven’t read through it yet, but it does look interesting from what I have seen. I’ll do a more detailed review once I actually read it.

Pretty Good CSS Tutorial

I found a pretty good CSS site that helped me with floating elements. It’s all very vanilla content, but the way it presented was exactly what I needed.

Link: Open Source BPM

This seems like it is a really good thing for Open Source. Business Process Management is needed by companies of all sizes, but the good software is typically available only to those with a big budget.

I have not taken an in depth look yet, so I won’t vouch for the product. You can read a little more about it in this interview and on their website.

Are there other good Open Source BPM implementations that I am not aware of?

Link: Amazon EC2 and Oracle SOA Suite a Strong Combo

This article describes a grid-like solution for SOA using Amazon’s EC2 and an Oracle product. It gets you thinking about the possibilities. Just replace the Oracle product with anything and you have a cool architecture. I am still waiting on an app that would serve as a good test case for using EC2.
